Calabar is the capital of Cross River State in Nigeria. It is located in the South-Eastern part of Nigeria, on a peninsula between the Calabar River and the Great Kwa River. On three sides, it is separated from the nearby high land area by the Rivers and broad stretches currently occurring towards the North.
